Razor E100 Electric Scooter
Product Report
This is a review of the
Razor E100 Electric
Scooter .
This is an introductory children’s scooter,
with a well established reputation. This is the smallest of
Razor’s electric scooter line, with a small 100W motor and
approximately 40 minutes running time (5 miles), which is not
very long considering how long a ride to the park and back
would take.
Since this is a children’s model, the max
rider weight is 120 lbs, and its max speed is 10 MPH, more than
enough for the kids. Of course, if the battery dies, it can act
as a normal kick-scooter. Battery power is effectively saved
via the manual kickoff characteristic, since Razor E100 must be
moving at 3 MPH before the electric motor can be turned on.

"This is super product, much loved
by my son. That said, we found we
needed to read ALL the instructions
since the product needs to be reset
occasionally otherwise it does not
charge - leaving you with a very
disappointed kid." |

"fast delivery, undamaged product
in working order however, the box
was essentially pulled off the
shelf and a shipping label affixed
to it. My son answered the door for
UPS and wanted to know who we
ordered the scooter for..." |

"The scooter is solid and the
charge last a long time. This is
great for any kid 8+. I put my
190Lb on it and it moved me just
fine. The charger connector to the
scooter is a bit flimsy
though." |

"Bought this for my 6 year old son
for Christmas. He loves it. I
definately would suggest if you buy
this get a helmet, knee pads and
elbow pads. There have been a few
times that he hasn't slowed down
enough taking a turn and he has
taken a tumble. That is totally my
son though. Little dare
devil." |

Based on the above consumer testimonials, we
can say that the e100 is an all around
adequate children's scooter, with its top speed is still
safe for kids' use. The battery drains fairly quickly, so if
they get further from home, they will have to return in normal
"kick mode". Safety being first, if you purchase this electric
scooter for your child, be sure to purchase protective
wear (helmet, elbow and knee pads).
